It's Cool...

It has been H.O.T.--hotter than Mississippi here in our North Georgia mountain community.  Our grass is dead, our flowers are dead,
and our air-conditioning is dead.  That's right!  After forty years, our air-conditioning unit went caput...during the record-setting heat
wave.  It's all cool, though, because we Burts dig home warranties, and it just so happens that we renewed ours last Christmas with
the idea that this very thing would happen to our Stewart-Warner furnace.  It's so old, they don't make a fan that fits it anymore, so we
get a new unit altogether next week!  Hooray.  It only took (almost) one month to go through all the proper channels to do it...and now
the temps are back down in the eighties.  But, hey, at least we'll be lovin' it next summer.  We've added a couple new pictures to the
gallery, but school has started and things are getting busy.  Ella starts preschool on Wednesday, so we'll post pictures of her first day
of "school."
